We enjoyed a chilly fall walk to the Hudson Public Library and Hudson Police Station last week!  The library put on a special story time for our group.  This included songs, a puppet show, and a cooking craft!  We also enjoyed some free time exploring the children’s section as well!

After our library visit, we met Officer Knepler for our tour of the police station.  As we walked through, we met other officers and learned what each department does each day.  We also climbed in a squad car and talked a lot about safety!  We ended our tour with donuts and goodies and sang happy birthday to James!

A special thanks to Officer Knepler (James’ dad) and children’s librarian, Shelley Tougas for facilitating such a wonderful field trip for us!  Kindergarten memories were made!
