Robots and Water Experiment
This last week I introduced a robot kit that my students have been going crazy over! These kids really understand STEM and were able to do their own problem solving by assembling pieces that connect to batteries to make their robots move!
This week in science we talked about water. We learned about different types of bodies of water (lakes, rivers, ocean, etc). One very important concept we talked about is that water flows down stream. We used model clay to build slides to test out our theory.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
We had a fun Valentine’s Day making goodie bags, playing bingo and eating yummy snacks! Thank you Eddy Burt, Grandma Kay and Amy Bailey for helping with our party!
100 Days of School!
Wow! Can you believe we’ve hit 100 days of school? What a fun and exciting journey we’ve been on! Both kindergarten classes enjoyed crafting and counting together this afternoon.
Mass at Saint Anne’s Parish
Our students did an excellent job and packed the pews at St. Anne’s in Somerset today! Our school filled up half of a whole section alone! It was great to celebrate Catholic Schools Week as an entire community and with Bishop Powers.
Wiggle & Giggle at The Giggle Factory
We had a great time with preschool at The Giggle Factory! Our students did a great job helping the younger kids and showing their Shamrock Pride! We played for almost two hours. My class asked if they could have quiet time after lunch =) Mission accomplished! Yay for Catholic Schools Week!
