We love our big kid buddies! Last week we spent recess and lunch with 3rd grade because all of the other elementary classes were on field trips! We also had our last reading time with our 4th grade reading buddies! Mrs. Dumont brought us doughnuts and we enjoyed them outside together!

Gala Masquerade Party!
We did it! Our class met our goal for selling over the amount of suggested raffle tickets for our annual fundraiser! Each class is asked to sell raffle tickets to raise money for our school and this year we raised way more than we ever have! All classes who met their goal got to attend a special party to play games and have snacks! Parents attended the annual gala, A Magnificent Masquerade, a few weeks prior.
Can you tell who is who?
A special thanks to the PARENTS for making this donation possible by helping your child sell their tickets!
Sock Hop 2018
I found a few students at our annual, all-school sock hop! They formed a hula hoop train with first graders and chugged around the gym! So fun!
Then and Now
My! How our year has flown? It’s fun and sad to see how much these K students have grown in one school year! They’re still sweet, caring, fun-loving, goofy and future leaders! We have so much to look forward to with the class of 2030!

Language Arts Outside
Our language arts time was spent outside on the first nice day of spring! Everyone was itching to get outside, so we decided to read our books and write sight-words with chalk in the sunshine! And of course, we had to free draw too!
Kindergarten Reader’s Theater: Hop On Pop!
Kindergarten did an outstanding job presenting their reader’s theater version of the Dr. Seuss classic, Hop On Pop! for parents and family members a few weeks ago! Each child read a line independently and with a partner. Our goal was to read so everyone could hear each word they said and to read with expression and feeling. They did a wonderful job and were very excited to read!
