Hudson High School Pep Rally! We are the Mighty Raiders!

We’re so lucky to be kindergarten because we always have a front row seat!  The kids were in awe of the pep band, the flipping cheerleaders and all of the cheering athletes!  After their presentation, they let our class wave pom poms, play the bass drum and kick a soccer ball with the HHS Soccer team.  Hudson High School will be celebrating their 2016 Homecoming game THIS Friday!

First Day in the Atrium

Our first day in the upstairs Atrium was on Tuesday!  This is a prayerful space coordinated by our faith formation instructors, Miss Emily and Miss Katie, where we come once a week for 45 minutes to pray, learn, play and grow in Jesus.  It’s all hands-on learning, so the kids really enjoyed spending time here!

Fun Friday!

Mr. D wore these kids out in gym class playing parachutes games!  I’m not sure who had more fun…. Mr. D or kindergarten?

Stephen entertained his classmates during free choice with a game he created!  Friends rotated each round so everyone could play!

They did it!

They did it!  You would have thought these kids had won the super bowl!  They finally completed the farm puzzle on their own!  The friends who were doing other activities all came over to share in the excitement!  There were many “way to go” and “great job” comments that got our entire class up to blue on our behavior chat!

Happy Birthday Mary!

img_2194

Our kindergarten classes joined in a birthday celebration in honor of Our Blessed Mother Mary!  Our students decorated 75 cupcakes to make a giant rosary!  After we built our rosary, Sister Margaret, 1st and 2nd grades joined us in prayer by reciting the Hail Mary Prayer and eating cupcakes! It was quite the celebration!
